General
Ordering your Japanya products is very simple. Just browse the website using the
product links on the left hand side, select the category of the product you want
to find and go from there. Alternatively, you can use our 'Search' button to search
the site for what you need. When you see an item you want just click the 'more info'
button to see more information on it. To add an item to your shopping basket click
the 'Add to Basket' button.
Customer Login
When you have found everything you need, click on the 'Proceed to Checkout' button.
From here you will be presented with the login page where you have the option to
register as a new user or of logging in if you are an existing customer. In addition
to following the above route to login, you can login prior to choosing your products
by clicking directly on the 'login' button. If you are an existing customer you
can login by entering your email address and password. If you have forgotten your
password follow the 'forgotten password' link. If you are a new customer you can
register by clicking on the 'Register' button.
Payment
Credit card information is encoded using 128bit SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol
for your protection, as identified by the 'closed lock' icon and the URL that begins
with https://. This means all your transactions are encrypted and fully secure.
Paying using the PayPal Express Checkout
No login is required if you are a PayPal account holder and choose the PayPal Express
Checkout option. When using this option you will be directed to the PayPal
login page where you will be asked to login and confirm your payment/shipping details
before being returned to the Japanya site for confirmation of your order.
Order Confirmation
Once your order has been accepted you will be sent an email acknowledging our acceptance
of your order within 24 hours. Please contact us if you do receive an email confirmation.
It may be that the email address we have been given is incorrect or it may
be that there has been a problem with payment.
Your account
If you are a registered customer, when you login, you will be directed to your account
page. This presents you with various options including tracing your order history
and changing the details you have registered with Japanya.
Having problems logging in or adding items to your shopping basket?
We use session-only cookies to help track your identity during the time you are
on our website. If you are using a computer where the cookies are
turned off (check your browser setting on "tools/internet/privacy" ) you will
be unable to place orders.
What session timeout means?
Session cookies exist only for as long as your browser remains open. Once you exit
your browser, they go away. The server automatically disposes of sessions that have
been idle for a long period. This prevents sessions that have not been closed in
a controlled way from claiming server resources indefinitely. The timeout period
is currently set at 30 minutes.
