An obi, traditionally worn with a kimono, is a wide sash that goes round the waist and is tied at the back with a large flat bow. This red silk obi belt has a ribbon pattern on 60% of the front side and is black on its reverse. There are creases due to folding but otherwise it is in good condition. This obi would complement one of Japanya's second-hand silk kimono. Alternatively, it would make an attractive table runner or wall hanging or could be used for making cushion covers.
