The Manekineko (translated as beckoning cat but also known as the Japanese Fortune or Lucky Cat) is a very popular symbol of good luck in Japan. This lucky cat has a white body (brings luck). The kanji on its stomach reads "Koutsu Anzen" (which can be translated as "Drive safely/ safe journey"). Handmade in Japan.
